AggFlow user since 1994 for plant evaluations in aggregate, iron ore, gold ore, coal and salt mining. Senior Trainer, conducting regular 2-day AggFlow training sessions, onsite corporate training and online training for AggFlow users since 2008.

Background

Jim is a Professional Engineer with 40-plus years of experience in the aggregate and mining industries. His experience includes design and installation of new plants, recommendations for plant modifications, plant efficiency evaluations, plant audits and operations assistance. As a Director of Engineering and Vice President of Engineering, Jim has supervised, supported and trained engineers in equipment evaluations and recommendations, as well as training engineers in the effective use of AggFlow.  Since 2008, he has been a consultant in plant performance and equipment audits, recommending new equipment types or modifications to maximize efficiency and more. 

  • Engineer – design and installation of new plants; recommend plant modifications to improve production/quality of existing plants; evaluate plant efficiency; plant equipment audits; plant operations assistance; conveyor design per CEMA (spreadsheet calculations); structural design
  • Director of Engineering – supervise engineering group; support operations group with equipment evaluations and recommendations; train engineers in effective use of AggFlow; review project costs and ROI data; verify conveyor design; project estimate development; CAPEX prep & review; structural design check.
  • VP of Engineering – supervise engineering group; fabrication group and work in tandem with VP of Operations; evaluate plant audits & recommendations; evaluate project costs and ROI; train engineering group in effective use of AggFlow.
  • Consultant – plant performance/equipment audits; generate AggFlow process for existing, new and proposed plant modifications; recommend type of equipment for proposed products; recommend equipment modifications to maximize efficiency; project supervision; onsite project management; plant design; project estimate development; conveyor design; mining fleet evaluation/optimization.
